Installation in 2 minutes

1. Create your account and declare your site

Go to my.consenteer.com, create your free account, then add your site ("New site"). A unique identifier is generated for your site: it links the banner to your configuration.

2. Customize your banner

In the back office, choose the format (box, banner, popup, sidebar or pushdown), the colors and the texts, or start from one of the six ready-made themes. Every change is previewed before publishing.

3. Paste the script on your site

Copy the code below and paste it on every page of your site, just before the </head> tag. Replace YOUR_SITE_ID with the identifier provided in the back office.

That's it: the banner appears on the next page load, third-party scripts are blocked until the visitor has consented, and consents are logged in your back office.

Let your visitors change their mind

Consent must be as easy to withdraw as it was to give. The re-access badge displayed by Consenteer takes care of this; you can also add a dedicated link in your footer:

What about WordPress?

The official plugin Consenteer for WordPress is available on WordPress.org. It adds the banner without modifying your theme: install it from Plugins > Add New, then paste your site identifier in Settings > Consenteer. It also provides a [consenteer_preferences] shortcode to add a preferences link. Requirements: WordPress 6.7 and PHP 8.0 minimum. Detailed installation guide.

Check that everything works

• Open your site in a private window: the banner should appear on the first load.
• Refuse cookies, then check in the developer tools that no third-party cookie is set.
• Check the consent log in the back office: your test choice should be listed there.
